Okay so I decided to post something in regards to our major project! Just a little something to show everyone what my plans are for the rest of the semester and what I want to accomplish!
I decided to do my major project on baking. I would definitely say that baking is one of my passions. I love to bake, especially when I am stressed, I bake a ton when I am stressed. However, this is not something I would say I'm hugely talented at. Especially when it comes to the presentation. I always make sure its appealing of course. That's embedded in my OCD! haha However, I never meticulously sit and ensure its "pretty" or "perfect".
Not that I expect perfection from myself at the end of this project. However, I would really like to master a few baking techniques. I plan on watching tutorials, challenge myself with Pinterest, and even reach out to experts I know. All in order to better myself as much as I can so that by the end of this I can at least call myself a "talented" baker!
One of the things I would really like to master by the end of this, are the different ways to frost cupcakes and cookies. Because this is one of the first things I thought of when I decided to do this for my project. I decided to do a little precursor this week!
I have not watched any tutorials or read anything about frosting yet. However, I thought I would make some cupcakes and see what I'm capable of! I'm aware they probably wont look the best, but I think a great way to see how far you've come is by seeing where you started!
